Who can use Baqilak

You must be at least 18 and use Baqilak for your own business. If you use it on behalf of a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

What Baqilak is, and is not

Baqilak is a record-keeping tool. It helps you record orders, deposits and payments, see balances and prepare reminders.

Baqilak helps you record and organize payments. It does not independently verify bank transfers or collect payments on your behalf. It is not a bank, a payment service, an accounting system or tax software. Money moves directly between you and your customers, outside Baqilak.

Your account

Keep access to your email account secure, since it is how you sign in. You are responsible for activity on your Baqilak account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it.

Your data and your customers' data

• You own the records you enter. We use them only to provide Baqilak to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• You confirm you have a lawful reason to store your customers' details and to contact them about their orders.
• Reminders are sent by you, from your own WhatsApp. Do not use Baqilak to send spam or messages your customers have not agreed to receive.

Accuracy of balances

Balances and statuses are calculated from the payments you record. Baqilak does not check your bank account. Before treating an order as paid, confirm the money has actually arrived.

Acceptable use

• Do not use Baqilak for anything unlawful in Oman or where you operate.
• Do not try to access other businesses' data or disrupt the service.
• Do not copy, resell or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows.

Beta

Baqilak is currently in private beta. Features may change, and there may be interruptions while we improve it. Export your data regularly if it matters to your business.

Plans and fees

Baqilak is free during the beta. Paid plans, when introduced, will be shown in the app with their price in Omani rials before you buy. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are also subject to their terms. We will give you notice before any price change affects you.

Ending your use

You can stop using Baqilak and delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users at risk, and we will tell you why where we can.

Our responsibility

We work to keep Baqilak available and accurate, but we provide it as it is. To the extent permitted by the laws of Oman, we are not liable for indirect losses or for payments a customer did not make. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Omani law that cannot be limited. [Legal counsel to set the liability cap and consumer protection wording.]

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Muscat, unless the law says otherwise.
